Much of your new business no doubt, comes through personal recommendations from your customers. That's because most of us instinctively look for recommendations, when we need a service provider, if we don't already know one. We feel reassured when we hear positive feedback from an actual customer.
Many who can't find a personal recommendation search the internet to find service providers, but this carries an element of risk and uncertainty. Some provide a better service than others, some are more experienced and some charge more. Unfortunately, there are some who are unscrupulous who are waiting to prey on unsuspecting individuals.
An increasing number of customers use Tradestamp because they are reassured by our pledge that all of our Approved Service Providers have been recommended, to us, by their customers. We pass on those recommendations by making available, the feedback posted by your customers.

We have the following three-step registration process which includes us asking two of your customers for feedback about the quality of service you provide.
Step 1 Enter your company's details and submit the initial registration form.
Once you've done that, we'll send you an email with a link back into Tradestamp so that you can complete steps 2 and 3 Ensure that you double check that the email address you have entered is correct.
Step 2 Select the services you provide and the area you cover.
You may select up to 20 service categories from a menu of over 200.
In addition, we allocate space where you can describe the services you provide. Customers with whom you're matched will have access to this information, so it's time well spent if you add some descriptive text and a wasted selling opportunity if you leave it blank.
The final task is to define your catchment area. Tradestamp matches using the post codes and counties that you include in your catchment area, so it's important that you define it accurately and fully.
Once you've completed this step, you'll be taken to a single-page application form where you can complete step 3
Step 3 Complete your application for Approved Status.
You'll be invited to enter your Qualifications, Trade Affiliations, Company Status and Public Liability Insurance Cover. Customers with whom you're matched will have access to this information and will be reassured by what you've entered.
You'll also be asked to nominate two independent customers who'll be prepared to give us objective feedback about the service you provide. The customers you nominate must be unrelated to you and not have any association with your business. Include their email address if possible because it will enable your customers to post their feedback at a time that suits them and it is less time consuming for us.
Their feedback will be posted anonymously and you have our assurance that their contact details will not be disclosed to any third parties.
Once we've received positive feedback from your customers, we'll upgrade your status to Approved. We'll alert you by email and text message every time a service requirement is posted by someone in need of your services. They'll have access to your profile and your website and you'll be able to contact them directly if you're interested in their business.

We operate a "No Win No Fee" charging model which means that we will charge you a nominal success fee only if you win business as a result of a lead sent by Tradestamp.
What does it cost?
- There is no charge to register your business
- There are no annual administration or any other fixed fees to pay
- You will not be charged for receiving new customer leads or for accessing customers' contact details
- We operate on a “No Win No Fee” basis. If a customer who is introduced to you via a service requirement posted on Tradestamp.com or one of our other affiliated websites agrees to employ your services, you will be charged a “Success” fee amounting to a proportion of the value of business won.
- We apply three different charging streams, each based on the concept of a Success Fee. When you have been granted “Approved Status” you will be invited to choose one of the charging streams below that best suits your business and personal preferences
Stream 1
A success fee equating to just 1% of the value of the business* won will be applied providing you introduce coding, supplied by Tradestamp, into your company’s website so that an outbound link from your company's website to tradestamp.com and an additional affiliated website of our choosing is activated. This amounts to just £1 for every £100 worth of business you win.
Stream 2
A success fee equating to 1.5% of the value of the business won* will be applied if your business does have a link from your company website to tradestamp.com but does not agree or is unable to provide links from your company's website to an additional affiliated website, of our choosing.
Stream 3
A success fee equating to 2% of the value of the business won* will be applied if your business does not agree or is unable to provide links from your company's website to tradestamp.com and an additional affiliated website, of our choosing.
*For some service providers, the value of business won will be based upon the average cost of providing that service. For example, for Driving schools, we will apply the average number of driving lessons taken by the average pupil (as per the DSA’s own statistics) and the average cost of a driving lesson nationwide.
* Where the total cost of a service being provided can not be ascertained at the point at which the service provider is engaged by a customer using Tradestamp, for example, when instructing a solicitor, we will base the success fee on the final bill charged to the customer on completion of the service.
Remember, there's no charge for registering your business or following up the leads we send you.
