Being granted Approved Status gives you the option to pay to view customer's contact details for any of the Service Requirements to which you've been alerted.

This page gives you the opportunity to apply for that status. Once submitted, Tradestamp will consider your application and respond as soon as possible so that you can start enjoying the full benefits of a Tradestamp Approved Service Provider.

We will check the validity and accuracy of the information you provide and contact the referees that you have given us. Please ensure you that you have gained their permission first.

We need to see copies of all policies, certificates and other documents to support your application. Please send these by email, fax or post. Please refer to the information contained in contact us for these details.

The information that you give here, with exception of the referee details, will be available to customers whose service requirements you have paid to view. Customers will use this information, in conjunction with your service history, to compare you with your competitors.

Spending time now, giving us as much information as possible, could gain you an edge over your competitors in the future. For example, a Service Provider without adequate public liability insurance could be disadvantaged when compared with a competitor who is well covered.

HOW TO APPLY

Trade Affiliations and Registration Details
This is a free format text box that enables you to put as much information as you can about you company and its workforce. Please include reference data so that it can be verified now and checked by customers if they should ask later. You should include:
  • Affiliations your company has to professional bodies
  • Memberships and affiliations that individuals have to professional bodies
  • Qualifications that members of staff have that are appropriate to the services you provide
Legal Status
Select your company's legal status from the drop down menu
Company Registration Number
If your company is registered at Companies House, enter the registration number
VAT Registration Number
If your company is registered for VAT, enter the registration number
Professional Indemnity Insurance
If you have insurance, enter:
  • The Insurance Company
  • Policy Number
  • The amount for which you are covered



Customer Referees
You are required to enter the names and contact details of two referees.  These must be customers for whom you have provided service within the past year. They must not be related to you or known to you in a social capacity.

All fields are mandatory except email. We will either contact the individuals by telephone or email. As well as ensuring that they recommend you, we shall also be asking them to evaluate your service.
